For over a decade, United Way Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District has partnered with Sault College trades students to host the annual Trades Day of Caring. This initiative focuses on helping seniors winterize their homes, ensuring they stay safe, warm, and secure during the harsh winter months, tasks can include window caulking, weather stripping, sealing, and outdoor preparations like raking leaves and shutting off outdoor faucets.
